To repeat some of what VK_Technician wrote, from my perspective:
I had a 640i GC. I thought the interior was gorgeous, and of course it's stunning outside.
The car is heavier than it should be and I thought the ride was too stiff in comfort mode.
I now have a 540i, which is better in every regard except looks.
I see no reason why those impressions would not be the same for the V8 version.
