It could be, but last night I as at the Bellevue dealer. They have two M2 on the lot and two more coming, all four are not spoken for. My CA indicates, all are cancelled order. Just a guess on my part, but looks like people cancel to hedge the risk and decide to wait-n-see if M2 CS with S55 engine will be reasonably priced.
From this thread alone, between Seattle and Bellevue BMW there are eleven M2 available for purchase
Looks like the demand for N55 M2 is dead, at least here in Seattle area
Crazy how things turn, last summer I spoke to my CA thinking of doing ED on M2, and the waiting list was like 20 people long at each dealer. And each dealer was not willing to do ED on M2.
