Can you get the order number from your dealership and then they or if you go to a Bmw genius on the Bmw website will be able to see what stage the car is at.
In addition the vin will tell you where it is being built.
If you google this should be able to find other nuggets.
I managed to track the ship I suspected it was on real time as it sailed to the docks even!
