If you look down the engine bay, theres a lot of open air that can swirl around and cool the engine down, plus that side of the engine isnt near the exhaust, so it actually remains a lot cooler. Someone get a pyrometer and measure the difference in temp from side to side. Im willing to bet its substantial.

And like someone else said, you cant argue with a dyno.
