One factor that makes the AC system labor is the poor glass in the 330i. It has very poor heat-rejecting qualities. This makes the AC work that much harder, and, unfortunately, hurts gas mileage. I have noticed that the G20's AC is more robust than the F30.

interesting, ive been way from BMW for a bit, but previous 2011 F10 535xi, 2008 e93 M3 and 2006 e90 330i I never experienced this.
