More of an FYI -
Started car a couple mornings ago, drove a few miles (normally), parked for a few minutes and threw this code. I know there were some Vanos issues with some older model e90s, f10s, etc. I did not experience any performance, throttle or idle issues. Car ran normally. Light went off a day or so later. Oil is still pretty new and was fully topped off according to the idrive measurement. Hopefully not something to worry about since I didn't find any relevant threads about it. Got a Vanos intake solenoid replaced under warranty. Hopefully just a one off.
