Just got word from reliable source that as of todays bulletin from BMW a wide array of G30's, M3's,M4's and few others cannot be flash tuned if youve had your ECU updated after March of this yr. As I understand tuner's cant read the vin or pair it with the tune's from Sellers of OTS tunes. You can try, but may end up being bricked/locked out. Mercedes also sent out a similar bulletin on certain cars. I saw the email, I may be off on some of my verbiage but was told flash tuning my G30 is not able to be done as of this morning on any of our cars updated after march. I just had my ECU reflashed at dealer a week ago, so I am out of luck too.
