i'm not saying I wouldn't enjoy a 5 series estate here, I know I would. But I don't feel short changed with my X3 M Sport... And it is considerably cheaper than a new 5 touring would be, and that's nothing to sneeze at either.

I would also be very happy driving around an X3, don't get me wrong. And sales people here are exactly making the claim you do: don't you want to have better vision among all those other SUVs - and it is starting to become a real argument here too...
