Xdrive is very fusy, make sure diffrence isnt higher that 2mm-(Same axle) .
According to my mate who refurb transfer box's.
Front vs rear (can be bigger). Usually is bigger as these days we are getting diffrent size on front and rear.
On X5 older you will hear a whinning noise from transfer box with wrong tyre (yes 1 tyre -3mm diffrence in thread).
But with never xdrive you cant hear it untill it broke down.
Take size of tyre ( for example 255/35 and do math 255:35= x.xx) do same for rear. See diffrence in mm. Usually max 2mm. You should keep that ratio. ~2mm.
Otherwise you will run yourself in to expensive repair..
Non RF tyres on my 540i g30 wasnt great. Cornering feels to soft. I also use pzero. With goodyears I had 2x buckled tyre! After pothole. These seems takes pootholes better.
