If you guys believe your garage Dyno numbers for non modified M550 more than you believe BMW numbers - it is fine by me.
Than by the same logic - the new engine is going to have 600_ HP on your garage Dyno

The fact of the matter is - BMW is putting new engine in M550 staring July 2019.
Based on that white paper - that engine went through serious redesign.

I have no reason to dout BMW 80 HP and torque increase numbers.
But no matter what you believe - all one has to do is go and drive
M850 with the new engine and
M550 with the outgoing engine to see the difference for themselves

I like the M850 engine better. Pulls harder, more responsive, sounds more aggressive.

For those who just got M550 - I know how you feel. I just got x5 5.0 and this thing is getting a new engine in July as well (call it M50 x5 now)
BMW just did the same thing to 750 owners.
Look at 750 LCI staring in march 2019. 5 series is going through the same in July
