Dinan is known to dyno cars on the high side. I am not saying '18-'19 is at stated 453HP or much more than stated number. My '18 M550 is plenty faster. It felt just as fast if not faster than my ESS Tuned '15 F80 M3, which is over 500HP. If that is not enough, it felt just as fast as my '18 X6M.

I am glad that BMW is placing 520+ HP in newer M550i and not charging $100+k for it. Will it make me sad that I have 453HP M550i, absolutely not. It is a great car and I am happy for the car with the price I paid. Who knows, there may be 575HP M550i Competition coming out in a few short years.

For those with '19 M550 - congrats on amazing car.
For those who ordered or will order '20 M550 - advance congrats on what may be even more amazing car.
