Only my opinion, but not a chance. Only 4 cylinder diesels available in the UK and Ireland, even the top level D5 is only 4 pot and the handling just won't be a patch on the G30 or any BMW for that matter. That seems to be the consensus. And the interior of the G30 is now at the top of the pile.
But still, there will be many who will be tempted by the Volvo. 0% APR is available as well at the moment plus they piled in a load of options as standard. It's great to have so much choice. I could definitely see the pull of the Volvo to as an executive cruiser for those commuting on the motorway and busy roads. It will give an armchair ride to and from work.
