As a whole package, the Mercedes has been a better car this season though. The Ferrari is (at least was up until this weekend) faster only in a straight line.

Analysis from earlier this year showed that Ferrari was losing quite a bit of time in slow and mid speed corners compared to the Mercedes (more than they were gaining in outright speed on the straights).
