Things change. Wheels turn. M cars aren't what they used to be. I think there is an audience for an honestly visceral (i.e. not piped in through the sound system) driving experience, and I don't think the M cars do that like they used to. Then again maybe I'm just old and everyone today wants their real car to be just like the one in the video game and BMW has it nailed.
