Merino, Nappa or Dakota leather doesn't matter as the leather seats are the most noticeable part of the interior on these expensive cars. Taking care of it is important. I wouldn't use Lexol or armoral on these seats. I have read on M5 site that distilled water on a microfiber cloth is all that is needed. But I want other opinions.
