I'm going to do an oil change on my 540i (xdrive UK)

Does any body know what oil it will have in it from the factory? as I would ideally like to replace with the same stuff.

I could obviously go to the dealer to get the oil but I don't really want to pay through the nose just because it comes in a BMW bottle.

I am aware that anything with the LL04 spec will be ok, but would be nice to replace like for like. The Shell lube match recommends a 5/30, Castrol does not list the G30 but recommends either an EDGE 0/30 or EDGE professional 0/30 for other vehicles with the B58 engine.

Also I would normally just suck the oil out from the dipstick hole but I assume this is not an option on the B58 engine, are there any shortcuts or do I need to get underneath?
