The same is true of pretty much every car currently made. The top speed limit on a US highway is an 85 mph stretch of road in Texas. I can't think of a car built that can't exceed that limit, most can go well beyond it. Somehow, high performance vehicles continue to sell in the US, so obviously not too many American drivers are bothered. |
Arguably not a car, but those silly electric Smart cars can't exceed 85. I think I got one to around 75 going downhill.
