To me even the speedo looks awkward on the LCP. Reminds me of a 1990s arcade game.
I feel there's other better ways BMW could have used to display a speedo and tach. I'm also sure they had restrictions /limitations due to EU and US regulations. So, we have LCP as it exists today.
