Slightly off topic but it's possible to send sms or what's app messages hands free.
Long press the microphone button. Wait to be asked which message type you want to send. Dictate your message ie send message to (name) "home soon". System will all of you want to send it. Say yes.
This is all on android without enhanced Bluetooth.
