So send her the title to it with a letter explaining your going to have to
start charging her storage. And you need the new title, signed off by her,
to sell it per her instructions. Send it certified mail with return receipt.
Go to police station and discuss issue with Sgt or Lt. Write it all down,
to include their names. Verify thru your Dept of Vehicles and follow
instructions. They don't need her title to obtain another "clear" title.
Jump thru their hoop . . . NOT hers !
Follow instructions, and you will probably end up with the vehicle.
A well used BMW driven by someone who paid no attention to it.
Myself I wouldn't even roll the dice IF i should keep it . . . its GONE ! !
Take the money and buy . . . another CIVIC.
That BMW will be a BLACK HOLE !
