Just looking at "Boston" looks to be 300-600$ per sqft. Meaning it could be a $1Mil build near the city and suburbs. A national average is about $150/sqft or 450K. In Pittsburgh it cost me about $242/sqft for a "premium" home. Modular homes are significantly cheaper, but you are limited on layout and design, it wont be fancy, but it will be efficient and well put together. ie no high ceilings or 3 car garages, balloon wood frame and bad noise isolation unless you put the money into thicker drywall/insulation yadda yada.


Research, shits expensive. and add 50% to whatever anyone quotes you because it ALWAYS changes. 'Change order'
