I'm not sure what you mean by "tune-up" as current (non-turbo) BMWs specify replacement of spark plugs and O2 sensors only at 100,000 miles. At 85k miles, my E46 is on the original plugs, wires, coils, injectors and exhaust system and it seems stronger than ever. The only maintenance I've found to be particularly expensive is the brakes, which are roughly $500.00 per axle as rotors generally need replacing along with pads. Of course, they are covered for the 1st 4 yrs./50k.
You might check with a dealer to find out if there are additional turbo maintenance items and the cost.
