While the Audi LED dash looks great I am very happy that BMW went with the traditional dash. Not only does it look timeless it will also work if people decide to keep their cars for longer periods than just the 4 year lease. Don't have to worry about led dash electronics or dead pixels.

Isn't the G30 speedometer/tachometer also a display? It was on the F10. There may be the circles to give an analog look, but the numbers and data are digital. |
you are correct it is. well at least it looks analogue unlike the Audi and MB one which is just a flat screen.
Hope the new one drives much better. last gen drove like a pig.
the overall design of the dash still needs esthetic refinement. of all 3 German manufacturers BMW in esthetics in my opinion is dead last. it is missing the flow that Audi and MB have.
