You can only swap engines that is designed to go into cars into another car
Ie no truck engines into cars and vice versa
Now it is even harder as you can't even unlock Ecu for immobilizer bypass since it may create a different check sum and cause it to fail smog
It's a lot of backwards laws happen, and it got worse
It's not about emissions since a newer engine will ALWAYS run cleaner than one that is 20 yrs older
If it was about cleaner air , they should ONLY care about what comes out the tail pipe |
