Nordstrom has the best jeans FOR ME. They always have the latest styles and brands. I hate the flash too because I frequently wear them with a sport coat. The best ones so far are Graduate Slim Straight Leg Jeans. Simple clean lines. Snug thru the thighs and calves like I like them. They're a bit on the high side as far as jeans go - $200.00 pr. But the look real good and feel good too.

Now, all that said, I still wear slim fits Levi's for working around the house, working on cars, etc. I love my Levi's. Been wearing since I was 5!
