Love the fact that my commute is 100% covered by the energy directly from the sun ... my house is completely solar powered.
Solar panel -> car. Literally harnessing our nearest star every day to power my bimmer. Ha!
Performance wise it's great. No complaints. You can drive easy and smooth and have zero carbon footprint, or you can drive aggressively and enjoy the "BMW" feeling on demand and still get great mileage.
Kind of fun to have a terrific luxury car and be kinder to the planet at the same time.
