With the wheel and pedals, especially. I used to race better drivers (in the real world) than myself on GT4 with the PS2 gamepad and would beat them simply because I knew how to modulate things better.

My rule now for steering and accel/brakes is that you should almost always be giving something, but if you are putting in 100%, it almost for sure wrong. I kind of realized this on GT4, where before this, I had thought that the cars that handled best were simply those that dealt with crazy inputs ok (which is not a good measure).

I've found that FM2 teaches you to give respect to RWD cars. And, I've also learned, by driving my 335i up the Angeles Crest today with my GTech, that I approach nothing like what I'm willing to do in a video game at this point in my new car. I only got to about .80 Gs, though these are corners at around 60mph...
