It's all based upon the limits of the tires that were shipped on the vehicle. Unfortunately for those that had all-season non-run flats, there's no way to remove the limit via coding.

BMW NA said dealer that I got car from can code or raise limiter for me. They owe me a favor so we'll see. Not the end of the world either way
