Regrettably, the wheel-to-strut clearance in front is the issue if going to a wider wheel, not the fender lip. That's why I think it's possible 5-10mm spacers could be required. But it is only speculation until Tire rack, me, and others here start testing the fitment. No final answers yet, but soon. Here is a
helpful tool that can start the fitment process.
