I personally would wait. I'm hoping the 540 gets the upgraded 380 + engine being used in some other models. I assume it will also get the I-Drive 7 upgrade, which I don't know whether that is good or bad. I also assume a bigger grill - which I consider bad, but it depends upon just how big it is.

When the 2021 is announced I will then be able to consider both - assuming there are 2020s in stock the way I want them. I should also point out that I"m considering other vehicles, so it's not like I'm definitely getting another 5 series.
