It's all about the set up time. You've got to allow time for it to soak in. I've used Turtle Wax 2001 for many many years and it's been great for me. The formula has changed a couple of times but the result is still good. I try to avoid the gel products because it takes more sunlight and time to absorb. I've tried many different methods of either waiting a day after washing it put it on, or waiting a day before driving it, but never thought about the fact to get all of the excess off. I have layers on there. And I'll have to check out the Turtle Wax stuff. Thanks for the feedback!
