Sorry for bumping an old thread but just curious with those New Yorker's with front windows tint. I read that effective January 2017 that front window tints are not allowed anymore. Did you guys remove yours yet?
I got my car with tint already on all windows and I am registered in NJ which also doesn't allow front windows tint. I have to go for inspection when I get my plates transferred and I'm assuming they will ask me to remove it to get the state sticker.
