I can’t speak for Europe, but I don’t recall that in the U.S. But that did happen with motorcycles many years ago. They agreed to limit them to a paltry 186 mph. I run my motorcycles pretty fast on backroads, and once ran quite fast in a 2009 Z06 I had. But my BMW 540 is basically a grocery getter on the greater Houston area for me. The bikes get all the fun.
