I do agree that cognac is a good looking color. If the OP can wait for a special order, the caramel black merino is like a better cognac.

I maybe in the minority, but I prefer the look of Dakota over Nappa. I like to see grain on leather, and the fact that it's firmer is not a problem for me. Will wear better long term.
