Gearshift was in normal "S" position as always was in previous models. This is the way it is designed. The drive mode is set to "Sport Individual" and shows that in the intrument cluster. The way to get out of a downshift is to quick slide the gearshit knob left then right to bring you back to D/normal assigned gear. A slower route is to use right paddle to upshift through the gears. You will die from lack of accelartaion lag this way if coming out of a turn for example.
There was a computer error in communicating the paddle command. Fortunately there is not a limiteron the shift mode...at least not that I know of. I don't flog my cars but I do DRIVE
them as intended.
