I initially brought the BT version, as per your link. I returned it because the connection kept on dropping. The WiFi version has been fine.

As i only want to enable usb video on rear displays, is this option valid without bimmercode subscription?

If your want to code using the app, I'm afraid you'll have to purchase the license. As far as I'm aware, it's a lifetime license.
