Volvo will sell their V90 in the US. They will sell an allroad-like XC version that's lifted 2.5 inches and a regular height version that you will have to order, but they will ship to the US. Starts at $53k and comes in three trim levels. Their mid level is a ~300 hp turbo 4. They also offer a hybrid that includes a performance mode that leaves you with 400hp. I'll leave it to the boss as to whether she wants the little bit of ride height,

Wife is shopping for alternatives to retire the minivan. The G31 would have been an absolute no-brainer. It would be great if they could at least figure out an individual option to order. Yes, I get teh Federalization thing. Maybe trump will loosen up those regulations to improve business?

I know this is a BMW forum, but this is a 20+ year US owner sorting out options with a product gap in BMW's line. There seem to be others in my shoes.
