If you remember back in 2017 when the G30 was first released, iDrive 6 had its fair share of problems. Probably not as bad as iDrive 7, but there's a level of sophistication difference.
Nevertheless, doesn't seem BMW is overly worried about using owners as beta testers. I'm quite sure they'd rather things just work properly without all the frantic emergency software development to fix show stoppers, such as the Live Cockpit Pro going black in early G05. |
