I think back when cars had 0 to 60 times of six or seven seconds, that specification could be useful for something about how powerful a car was. But now days I don't think it means very much when the cars are in the 3.5 to 4.5 second range due to traction issues. But if you like accelerating to 60 from a stop all the time then I guess you could have some fun with it. Other than that, I think that the 0-60 spec is pretty useless these days to describe how powerful a car is on the highway or autobahn.

But who knows? My statement is just one man's opinion.
Yeah, you are right. However, I think they will be closer than what we think. The f10 even with 450hp was 4400lbs rwd, not saying the G30 540i will trap at 109 mph, but something is to be said if you lose 4-500 lbs. The 540i is currently noted at 3847 and 0-60 4.9 seconds in rwd, the f10 was tested at 4.8 at 4417lbs . Its 1.66 hp per pounds difference( underdog being the g30 540i) and the 540i is more aerodynamic and could have a better gear ratio/ total powertrain set up. IDK

I think dynamically it will eat it, but again I haven't driven the G30, did have a f10 550i for 3yrs and it still is a great car with an awesome v8 motor.

I totally agree with idea of the 0-60 times, but anything beyond 85 mph normally doesn't matter stateside unless your

I want to say the question is how much does the M550i weight with AWD, that will be the sign of things to come with the next gen m5 as it will get a diet with carbon fiber
