Thanks for the info.
I'm worried about the snow as well. I looked around and decided to drive through Grimsel Pass. When I google mapped it, it mentioned that the pass may be seasonally closed. I sure hope that it's open, otherwise I may have to drive through one of the many valley or lakeside routes.
