BMW are specifically warning against standard chargers that charge at over 14V.
Dealers have to have their workshop chargers software upgraded to include Li-ion settings. The equipment currently charges AGM batteries at 14.8V. Most amateur chargers charge between 14V and 15V.


I see CTEK has a lithium ion specific charger in both USA and European forms that charges at 13.8V.
