I'm with you on that one but for ease of use and keeping the interior like new, they do the trick. I'm AD military, so one day I could be wearing dress uniforms and the next might be muddy boots. I like the ability to pull them out, spray 'em off, and reinstall in minutes. As with most mods/accessories, to each their own. Do what works for YOU! Thanks for the compliment, though. |
I'm with you. They serve a purpose and aesthetics isn't one of them. All winter mats are ugly, but people need them to serve a purpose in protecting your carpet. I think all rubber winter mats look dirty and the mud, grime and salt sinks in over time and never comes back to that new rubber look even after washing them. I don't drive my M550 in the winter, so I don't have this need, but no one uses them because they look cool.
