I'm in the middle of my second summer with my M550 in San Antonio, Tx. We have had, and are still forcast to have multiple 100+ degree days. I park in the sun at the golf course 4-5 days a week, and return to the hot car, where I roll down the windows as I approach. My car is Sappire Black Mettalic, with black interior. Windows are tinted. I have no problem cooling the car. By the time I load my clubs and drive out of the parking lot, very cold air is blowing, and the seat ventilation can be felt on my already wet shirt and shorts. Within several miles, the cabin is cool and comfortable, without using Max Air, with Auto set on 70 degrees. I have found no problem with the air conditioning system. Sorry others are having a problem. I think this car cools as well as my Mercedes, or any of the other cars I have had. Just my $.02.
