You need to have the Harman Kardon or B&W system in order to use this solution. The lower level audio versions do not have a DSP so if you want to add an amp you'll need to tap into the analog speaker outputs.
I listened to the B&W and did not find it worth the extra $, so I ordered the Harman Kardon. When I get the car if it's good enough I'll leave as-is, if not I have the flexibility to go the mobridge route and upgrade away. For context on my other car I installed a Focal/Audison/JL Audio setup that is pretty darn good but cost just a tad more than the B&W. |
