Smell of cigarette smoke in car

Hi

Just changed the car a few days ago and other than one point i am happy; there is a slight smell of cigarette smoke. This is really annoying. I have tried to cure this on other cars without any real success, and tried:

- air fresheners
- a type of aerosol spray
- Fabreze
- giving the car a good (dry) clean and vacuum

I read on the 'net about a technique of soaking towels in distilled white vinegar and leaving them in the car overnight. This is supposed to "soak up" all the odours.

Also read about the smoke bombs that you can buy at Halfords of £20ish.

Any thoughts?
