Probably depends on your paint. I can see it not going with some colors at all.
I have an Azurite Black M550 on the way and I think the cerium gray will complement that color nicely. About the only cosmetic mod I'm considering is swapping out the front reflectors for painted ones...but I'll see how much they bother me once I have the car.
