This is where I think Tesla doesn't get enough credit. Without Tesla, this from BMW, probably would have never came or if it did, would be 15+ years from now.
The driver "feel" is going to be the most important perhaps and how they can make it feel like a regular gas powered car that enthusiasts are accustomed to. Anything can be fast in a straight line. It's how it can handle, react, take turns, put the smile on your face that is the REAL test.

the thing is I can see future car being fast at corner but still not be something the "old school driver" wants, I mean it can be video game kind of precise no feel and uber fast (just traction everywhere until it doesn't without much feedback, all compute controlled)
