Agreed, can't imagine it causing a HUD issue, unless something has happened to the electrical system which would be odd during install. Where did you attach power/ground for it? My box is on the driver side covered brake fluid/cylinder, and power/ground run across to the passenger side. Power is tapped on the main post by the exhaust side, and then grounded further down by the passenger headlight at a main grounding post.
