About a week ago BMWUSA modified their tracking site and added, "my garage". When you get to the login page for My BMW, you will see the hot tab to the right side of the page. A friend of mine told me about the new feature a day after it was added. I registered on it and and have found that it is right up to date with the Genius info. Haven't even checked the MY BMW status since then. Obviously though, the current status is only as up to date as entries into the system are.
My car was built last Friday and released to carrier also on Friday. No change in status over the weekend. Status changed to 190 (enroute to port) Mon and remains the same as of this time on Tuesday afternoon. My dealer advised me that "typically" it's 2-4 days from assembly to the port.
