Yes my x5 has the same (coming the other way to yours). The status stayed at that stage for about a month. Then suddenly it was in the UK. Either it was the quickest crossing of the Atlantic for a bmw or there's something fishy about their tracking system.

I am hoping That is the scenario with my car

Mines finished production may 30th and released to carrier June 1st and as of June 12 same status " release to carrier " as per BMW Genius

I was hoping to have the car by the holiday (July 4th)

If you don't mind me asking
What were your time lines ?
Production start, completion, release to carrier etc
